i've decided to put together my favorite finds for january, mostly from my solo trip to the ph during the last week of the month. it was my first time travelling alone and aside from getting a new tattoo, i hardly made any plans - i just wanted to spend the majority of the week eating good and familiar food, spending time with my sister and chilling with her cat, which is why no one but my family knew i was making the trip.

the dust has finally settled over the 2023 season and i've never been happier. as im writing this, the last post-season testing of the year has also wrapped up. for the first time in his career, lance has clinched a top 10 finish in the standings. i think that was the bare minimum he could've achieved considering his 2023 form and the car's swing in performance, but im happy that the last few races ended on a high.

unironically becoming a lance stroll fan post-DTS was not on my 2023 predictions list. I looked into his career (both f1 and in feeder series) and my findings have been...interesting. monaco quali has just wrapped up a few hours ago. lance is in p14 after missing the weigh bridge and sustaining debris damage from norris' car. fernando is starting on the front row after fighting for pole position. people are calling for his teammate to be booted out of f1. everything is fine.
